Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service clarify the rights and responsibilities of users and the policies and obligations of Totalus ("Company") in relation to the use of DeepDives.ai ("Service").

2. Definitions

  1. "Service" refers to the AI-powered web platform for research and document generation.
  2. "User" means any individual who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
  3. "Member" refers to a person who creates an account to access and use the Service.
  4. "Content" means documents and data generated by users within the Service.

3. Using the Service and Restrictions

  1. The Service is available for users of all ages.
  2. Users must not engage in the following activities:
    • Creating or sharing illegal or inappropriate content
    • Violating others' rights, including copyrights or privacy
    • Disrupting service operations through system abuse
    • Using automation tools or flooding the service with excessive requests
    • Engaging in behavior that goes against public order or accepted social norms

4. Ownership and Management of Content

  1. Users retain copyright to any content they create on the Service.
  2. The Company will not modify or delete user content without consent.
  3. User content is accessible only by the creator and those with a shared link.
  4. However, during the beta phase, the Company may review user content to improve and stabilize the Service. By using the Service during the beta period, users agree to this. This clause no longer applies after the beta ends.

5. Limitation of Liability

  1. Information generated by AI is for reference only. The Company does not guarantee its accuracy.
  2. The Company is not responsible for any damages resulting from technical issues, content errors, data loss, or system failures.
  3. Users are responsible for reviewing and using AI-generated content at their own discretion.
  4. The Service is provided "as is," and the Company assumes no liability for outages or security-related problems.

6. Data Transmission Agreement

  1. The Service communicates with cloud servers for AI processing, document generation, and data storage.
  2. By using the Service, users agree to this type of data transmission.

7. Payment Policy

  1. The Service includes both free and paid plans.
  2. Free users may have limited access to features and may see advertisements.
  3. Payments are non-refundable, except in specific cases at the Company's discretion.
  4. If a user deletes their account, any purchased items, such as credits, are forfeited and non-refundable.

8. Data Storage and Security

  1. Created content is stored in the cloud and is only accessible to the creator and those with a shared link. Exceptions apply during the beta period as described in section 4.
  2. The Company applies reasonable security practices to protect stored data.
  3. Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials.
  4. Any user content or usage data collected during the beta will be used solely to improve the Service and will not be shared with third parties for other purposes.

9. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Actions

  1. Users may not:
    • Reverse engineer or redistribute any part of the Service
    • Create false content or violate the rights of others
    • Abuse the Service with excessive or automated requests
    • Commercially exploit content generated by the Service without permission

10. Intellectual Property Rights

  1. All software, UI, databases, logos, and other content related to DeepDives.ai are owned by the Company and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without permission.
  2. Users must only use the Service as intended.

11. Service Changes and Interruptions

  1. The Company may update or modify features of the Service for improvement or maintenance.
  2. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to technical issues, server errors, or external attacks.
  3. The Company will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance of service interruptions.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

  1. DeepDives.ai may include content or links to third-party websites. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of such content.
  2. The Company is not responsible for issues arising from the use of external links.

13. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

  1. If a dispute arises related to the Service, the user should first attempt to resolve it through discussion with the Company.
  2. If no resolution is reached, the dispute will be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the court of jurisdiction will be based on the location of the Company.

14. Privacy and Data Protection

  1. User personal information is protected in accordance with applicable laws and the Company's Privacy Policy.
  2. The Company uses reasonable security practices and transparently discloses how personal data is collected and used.

Beta Service Terms

  1. DeepDives.ai is currently operating as a beta service. The beta period may change with notice from the Company.
  2. During the beta phase, the Company may access and analyze user-generated content to improve and stabilize the Service.
  3. Participation in the beta is voluntary, and users may stop using the Service at any time.
  4. When the beta ends, users will be notified in advance about the transition to the official service and any changes to data policies.

Effective Date
These Terms of Service take effect on March 25, 2025.
